When it comes to every computer, no matter what the user's needs are, almost everyone has similar needs in common; A set of office tools. Microsoft Office, being the leader in this field, is found on almost everyone's computer, be it the free trial version or a fully licensed suite. Of course, this software is great for meeting our word processing, presentation and other types of work needs, but the only thing less desirable is the price. If you're looking to get a copy of Microsoft Office 2010, prepare to pay $ 160 for the home / student version and over $ 700 for the professional. In my honest opinion, that's too much ... for ANY software. Of course, there are ways to access Microsoft Office for free, but if you're hacking and breaking the law, why don't you look for open source software for Windows?
Open Office is a suite of software that offers counterpart tools for each individual program in the Microsoft Office suit, but for the price completely free of charge. The Open Office software suite includes Writer (Word), Calc (Excel), Impress (Power Point), Base (Access), Draw (Publisher and Visio) and Math (Equation Editor). mindmap
Open Office was a gift from God to me during my college years. I had just bought a new laptop and required all the office tools to do my school work; Unfortunately, my entire new laptop came with the trial version of the software package. Once it was done, I was left with my own devices to find a suitable office toolkit. Before going down the hacking route, I decided to do some research on the open source answers to my question, and under and here I found Open Office. Because the Open Office output files were fully compatible, none of my teachers had a problem opening the files I sent them.
